In light of the "Safety First" column in the November 2010 issue of Street Scene, the member magazine of the NSRA, concerning the incorrect installation by many manufacturers of the screw-in upper balljoint in lower tubular control arms for the Mustang II suspensions, we offer our December and January special. Since the correct lower ball joint has a larger pin than the upper, it requires reaming the lower boss on the spindles. Since we have NEVER used the upper ball joint in our lower control arms, all of our spindles are reamed. So, for December and January, we are offering the correct screw-in lower ball joint to replace the incorrect uppers and reaming of your spindles for the sum of $154.98 plus shipping. Just send us your cleaned spindles, we will ream them and supply the ball joints and ship them back to you. Just order 2 of the part number 2740 ball joints when you send your spindles and request the December/January special. Of course if you would rather just replace your spindles with new units that are already reamed we offer a similar deal. Order 2 of the 2740 ball joints and a pair of either pn 5078 standard or 5079 2"dropped spindles for a total of $309.98 plus shipping. Since you won't be sending us your spindles, your car won't be down for the shipping time and you can place your order online. Just remember to put December/January special in the "comments" line along with your credit card security code. The total amount will be incorrect but don't worry, we will correct it when we process the order. This is for those of you that have control arms that are made by the "other guys" since ours have always had the correct lower ball joints.
